God has promised to strengthen us, but Pastor Bob discovers through Scripture that this is a conditional promise based upon our commitment to God's will and God's way. He also shares with us the nature of God's power and the strength that he gives to those who commit themselves to his Kingdom.
"God is watching us from a distance." So claimed the 1993 song "From a Distance" sung most prominently by Bette Middler in her grammy-winning version. But is God really watching us from a distance. And what does this promise say about our need to be present with the poor, the hungry, and the suffering of our world?
