What Gift Can I Bring? Service
Evil's Face                                       Jesus came to seek and to save the lost in a world where too often the evil seemed more present than the good. He was given two loving parents, righteous and obedient to God, to serve his needs. He was born into a world not unlike our own. A world of incomprehensible evil. What did it mean that Jesus was born into such a world? What did it mean for his parents to serve him in such a world? Jospeh and Mary knew great sacrifice as they served Jesus in obedience to a God who led them. What does it mean for us to serve Jesus in today's world? How is God using us to overcome the darkness of this world?

God’s Promise: I Will Give You Strength
God has promised to strengthen us, but Pastor Bob discovers through Scripture that this is a conditional promise based upon our commitment to God's will and God's way. He also shares with us the nature of God's power and the strength that he gives to those who commit themselves to his Kingdom.

    I Am With You Always
"God is watching us from a distance." So claimed the 1993 song "From a Distance" sung most prominently by Bette Middler in her grammy-winning version. But is God really watching us from a distance. He promises in his Word to be with us always. In Jesus he becomes Emmanuel, which means, "God With Us." Why is God's promised presence so important to us? And what does this promise say about our need to be present with the poor, the hungry, and the suffering of our world?
